Create a Castlight Account

You need a Castlight account in order to start earning rewards and exploring the great programs available, like the Wellness Assessment or free Health Screening. Castlight is available in many languages, including Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Portuguese, French, Korean, Russian, German, Thai, Turkish, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Malay and Polish.

Follow the steps below to get started.

CASTLIGHT REGISTRATION

  1. Visit mycastlight.com/abbott
  2. Create an account; click here for more details. You’ll need the following:
    • Email address (personal or work) and mobile number (optional)
    • First and last name
    • Date of birth
    • Abbott UPI; spouses/domestic partners who are not Abbott employees add an “S” to the end of the employee’s number (ex: 1234567S), unless you are also an Abbott employee. In that case, create your account using your personal UPI (do not add an “S”). 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

All U.S. employees and covered spouses/domestic partners enrolled for 2021 medical benefits are eligible to earn points toward rewards. If you are enrolling your spouse/domestic partner in Abbott medical coverage for 2022, they can create a Castlight account after November 11, 2021. Employees not enrolled in an Abbott medical plan can still create a Castlight account, participate in programs and earn points.

REMOVING SPOUSE/DOMESTIC PARTNER FROM COVERAGE?

When you elect to remove your spouse or domestic partner from Abbott medical coverage, make sure they redeem any points first. The Castlight account will be deactivated within a few days of submitting the change and your spouse/domestic partner will not be able to redeem Castlight points once the account has been deactivated.

NEWLY HIRED EMPLOYEES

Newly hired U.S. employees and their spouses/domestic partners are eligible to get an account and earn rewards. However, you will need to wait five weeks after your hire date to register so Castlight can receive your eligibility

WHAT’S NEXT

Once you have your Castlight account, you’ll be prompted with some questions to help Castlight personalize the experience for you. For example, your health goals or areas of interest will tailor some of the information you see. However, you’ll still be able to access all available programs regardless of your responses, subject to benefit eligibility.

CASTLIGHT ACCESSIBILITY

Castlight is flexible to fit your life, offering a variety of ways to access your account and track progress.
If you’d like easy access to Castlight while on the go, download the Castlight Mobile app and sign in. Just search “Castlight Mobile” in the Apple App Store or Google Play store.

If you prefer to use Castlight online, you can sign in to mycastlight.com/login. The website is supported as follows:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Internet Explorer – will no longer be able to access Castlight starting March 2022
  • Microsoft Edge
